Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma enjoyed controversial film 'The Kerala Story'.

Digital Desk, NE Post: Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has appealed to the people of Assam to watch 'The Kerala Story'. Chief Minister Dr. Sharma today appealed to the family members to watch the film, especially with his daughter.

As announced earlier, the Chief Minister today enjoyed the much talked about and controversial film 'The Kerala Story' at PVR Cinema Hall in Guwahati along with cabinet members and MLAs. Enjoying the film, he told the media, "We can understand a lot from this film.

He also believed that this film should be enjoyed with everyone in the family to eradicate the increasing incidents of terrorism and love jihad in Assam. "This film is not against any caste but against terrorism.

He also termed the decision to ban the film in some states as wrong. He also expressed his gratitude to the producers, artists, technicians, etc. of the film and thanked the young women who came forward to tell the true story fearlessly.
