Israeli army raids home of top Hamas official, shares video

Digital Desk, NE Post: The Israeli army continues to attack Hamas. Meanwhile, the Israeli army attacked the home of top Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Gaza.

The Israeli Defense Forces bombed his house with fighter jets on Thursday. He also shared a video of the blast. The Israeli army claimed the house belonged to Ismail Haniyeh.

Ismail Hanieh is the head of Hamas’s political bureau and one of the highest-ranking officials in the group that governs Gaza. Many countries consider him the head of Hamas. Israel claims that Haniyeh's house was used for terrorist activities.

The Israeli- Hamas war entered its 41st day on 16 November. Some 11,200 Palestinians have died in the fighting so far. About 1,400 people have died in Israel.
