After the Lok Sabha elections, AIUDF chairman Badruddin Ajmal challenges the chief minister of Assam to open 700 new madrassas.

Digital Desk: Badruddin Ajmal, the leader of the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF), issued a challenge to Himanta Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam, saying that if he wins the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, he will establish 700 new madrassas.Speaking at a Nagaon election rally, Ajmal declared, "We will open 700 new madrassas after the Lok Sabha polls alongside AIUDF MPs from Karimganj and Nagaon in Assam...CM Sarma We three brothers are going to open seven hundred madrassas. Listen, and write in your diary: Badruddin Ajmal is coming to the parliament."

While Congress leader Pradyut Bordoloi was endorsing AIUDF candidate Aminul Islam from Nagaon, Ajmal attacked him and called him a liar. Ajmal made it clear that while Bordoloi had extended employment offers, none of the Muslims in attendance at his protest had taken them. What Bordoloi had accomplished for the Muslim community in the last five years, he wondered.

"Even Modi or Himnata Biswa Satam is unable to give jobs and you (Pradyut Bordoloi) have given jobs but none of the Muslims has agreed to get a job in any of my rallies and asked him what he has done for Muslims for the last 5 years," Ajmal said.
