Delhi police arrive at Rahul Gandhi's residence ! What did Rahul Gandhi say in Kashmir ?

Delhi Police on Sunday raided Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's residence over his remarks during his 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' in Kashmir that "women are still being sexually assaulted"

The police team led by Special Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Sagar Preet Hooda reached Rahul Gandhi's residence at No. 12 Toglock Lane.

Aware of the social media posts, the police sent a questionnaire to the Congress leader asking him to “provide details about the women who approached him regarding sexual harassment.” The police asked him to provide details of these victims so that security arrangements could be made to them.

“We’re here to talk to him. On January 30, Rahul Gandhi made a statement in Srinagar saying that during his visit to India, he met several women who told him that they had raped him. We are trying to get details from him so that justice can be done to the victims," Hooda told reporters.

What did Rahul Gandhi do during his visit to India ?

According to police, Rahul Gandhi was referring to his experiences during his journey to India and the problems faced by women when a young woman approached him and told him about the abuse she faced.

“In one particular case, I asked a young woman, she had been raped, I asked her if we should call the police, she said don’t call the police then I will be embarrassed,” he said.

The Congress attacked the government and said Rahul Gandhi's questions on the Adani-Hindenburg dispute had shaken the government.

"A government reeling from Rahul Gandhi's questioning of PM Modi and Adani's relationship is hiding behind its police. Forty-five days after the completion of the Bharat Joro yatra, Delhi Police through notices seeks details of women who met him and spoke of harassment and violence." The Congress tweeted.
