The Bridge - Indo-Bengali Art Exhibition in Guwahati

The Bridge: Indo-Bangla Art Exhibition which was held from May 2 to 6 at the Art Gallery of Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra in the city. The exhibition was  organized by Nrityanjali Academy, one of the leading socio-cultural institutions in the state.

The exhibition was planned, coordinated and curated by Prabin Kumar Nath, Monika Devi and Aditi Chakraborty. The Bridge has been organizing international art exhibitions since. The event aims to bring together cultural, creative talents and ideas among artists from different countries of the world. The exhibition features artists from Bangladesh, Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Nagaland, Delhi and West Bengal. There are 76 Bangladeshi artists including Champak Barbara, Dilip Tamuli, Atul Chandra Barua, Saleha Ahmed, Biren Singh, Buddhi Thapa and Deepika Saha Portrait of the owner, Sculptures and prints are on display. The exhibition, which was opened at 4 pm on May 2 till 6 May.

The inaugural ceremony was attended by Bangladesh Artist Group President Saiful Islam, retired Commissioner of Assam Government and cultural worker Swapnanil Barua, artist Saleha Ahmed and artist Dilip Tamuli as distinguished guests.
