Named Nyaya Yatra because of Manipur violence ?
The goal of the Congress is to reach out to as many people as possible through this yatra, that is why the party has chosen the route of such a long journey. The party has started it from Manipur as violence has been going on there since May last year. The central government and the state government together have not been able to stop violence in Manipur so far. Rahul Gandhi also visited Manipur for a few days and also met the violence victims there. Apart from this, the Congress also brought a no-confidence motion against the government in Parliament over Manipur violence. However, the proposal was defeated. Now the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi are preparing to create an atmosphere against the government in the country based on Manipur.
