Digital Desk: Since replacing Rohit Sharma as MI captain, Hardik Pandya has been the target of criticism and has been jeered in nearly every IPL 2024 match he has participated in.

Hardik has also been the target of vicious internet harassment and trolling, which has hurt his on-field performance and not helped his cause.
Indian star Robin Uthappa, who won the 2007 T20 World Cup, disclosed that Hardik Pandya, the captain of the Mumbai Indians, is experiencing mental health problems as a result of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.
He is a man with the talent and potential to be an Indian team all-time great. The squad that first discovered him let him go, and he joined another team. He departed with them having won three or four titles. There will be that; he must have felt a little guilty. He attended GT, took home a title, and placed second in another. Then the discussion started," Uthappa stated.

"The jeers, the trolls, the fitness-related memes. Do you not think it causes him pain? It causes him pain. It is painful for all people. How many individuals are aware of the truth about it? Without a doubt, Hardik is battling mental health concerns. I know that as Indians, we are sensitive individuals. However, treating any human being in this manner is wrong. As a culture, we should not be able to treat someone that way and still be acceptable. It is not appropriate for us to laugh at it. These memes shouldn't be circulated by us."
The all-rounder is correct to secure his career, Uthappa continued.

"Yes, it's also our passion, but for me, it's what puts food on the table. It's our job." I've put my work out there for you to judge. It is not a corporate person's responsibility to criticize or voice opinions on television. In that situation, you have to give the other person some empathy and dignity in order to let them fail. Our nation's display of love and our response to our Indian team after we lost the World Cup are two of our most wonderful achievements. That's the way Indians and our society ought to be," Uthappa declared.
