Indian Railway Announce Requirement for Over 1,000 Vacancies
Digital Desk: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) of Indian Railways has opened applications for 1,036 vacancies under various Ministerial and Isolated category posts.
Eligible candidates can apply between January 7 and February 6, 2025, by visiting the nearest RRB office or accessing the official website at www.rrbapply.gov.in.
The recruitment includes positions such as Post Graduate Teachers, Scientific Supervisors, Trained Graduate Teachers, Chief Law Assistants, Public Prosecutors, Physical Training Instructors, Scientific Assistants, Junior Translators, Senior Publicity Inspectors, Staff and Welfare Inspectors, Librarians, Music Teachers, Primary Railway Teachers, Assistant Teachers, Laboratory Assistants, and Lab Assistant Grade III.
According to a statement issued by Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) on Thursday (January 9), applicants must have completed their 12th grade, graduation, or post-graduation, depending on the requirements of the specific post. The minimum age for application is 18 years, with the upper age limit extending to 48 years for certain posts.
The selection process includes a single-stage Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by a Skill Test, depending on the post.
“The recruitment process has been meticulously designed to ensure transparency and fairness. Eligible candidates will undergo these tests at multiple centers across the country,” said Kapinjal Kishore Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of NFR.
“Over the past decade, we have successfully recruited around 5 lakh employees, marking a 25% increase compared to the 4 lakh recruited in the previous decade,” Sharma added.
Moreover, the railway administration has urged candidates to remain vigilant against job rackets and middlemen. “Applicants are advised not to fall prey to fraudulent activities and should rely only on official communication,” the CPRO further said.
