Development in Assam has been possible without agitation in the last 9 years

NE Post, Guwahati: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led Rashtriya Janata Morcha government has completed its 9th glorious year. Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sharma and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw attended a friendly exchange of views with the owners, chief editors, editors and senior journalists of Assam news agencies at Vivanta Hotel in Guwahati in the presence of State BJP President Bhabesh Kalita.

Bharatiya Janata Party, Assam Pradesh President Bhabesh Kalita delivered a welcoming speech and said that the people of India have achieved comprehensive development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Shri Kalita said that the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government has been working continuously to move the people towards progress with the aim of service, good governance and welfare of the poor for nine years of success.

The Chief Minister said that the country has achieved massive development under the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the last nine years.

Shri Sharma said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has continued his efforts to make India a world leader in the past.

Under the leadership of Narendra Modi, the North East and Assam are at the peak of development in various parts of the country. Mr. Sharma added that in the past, it was difficult for a Chief Minister to maintain a relationship with one of the Prime Ministers. But now the Chief Minister is able to maintain frequent contact with the Prime Minister. In the last nine years, rail connectivity has been improved in all the states of the North East and bridges have been constructed at a massive rate.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made the Gamocha, Bihu and heritage sites of Assam shine in the world arena.

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw spoke on the successful work of the BJP government in the past nine years through PPT. Shri Vaishnav said that the pace of development has accelerated across India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and across Assam under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma.
