Roll Ball Getting Growing Popularity: 2nd Senior Championship Showcased Exemplary Talent

NE Post, Guwahati: The 2nd Senior Inter-District Roll Ball Championship concluded with Pragjyotishpur and Nalbari emerging as the victors in the men's and women's categories, respectively. The tournament, organized by the Guwahati Roll Ball Association, took place at the Rudra Singha Roll Ball ground over the course of two days.

In a fiercely contested men's final, Nalbari secured a hard-fought victory against Kamrup (M) with a close score of 12-11. Meanwhile, in the battle for the bronze medal, Guwahati defeated Tinsukia convincingly with a scoreline of 11-5.

The women's final witnessed Pragjyotishpur demonstrating their dominance as they defeated Guwahati with a commanding score of 5-1, securing the championship title. In the bronze medal match, Kamrup (M) prevailed over Nalbari with a score of 3-1.

During the prestigious medal awards ceremony, several dignitaries graced the occasion, including Deepak Nath, the President of Guwahati Roll Ball Association, Priyotanu Baruah, Bhumidhar Barman, and Suman Deka.
